Brown Butter and Sage Popovers & Giveaway!

We are inching ever closer to Christmas time. Bing Crosby's "White Christmas" is playing while big white snowflakes fall gently out of the sky. That meant it was time to break out a new recipe. I was in the mood for something savory and cozy. There is nothing like the smell of butter being melted with sage. A simple luxury.

Popovers are so easy to make! I only remember having popovers once or twice in my life before I married Alan. There is something about their light eggy textures that makes them so addicting! The addition of brown butter and sage makes them even more so! The bandits attacked each other for them. Natalie wound up hiding in the trampoline we just bought them. For some reason she thought that was a safe place.

BEKA cookware is some of the best non stick 8" skillets I have ever used. Normally when I make brown butter those little bits of browned milk fat stick to the bottom of the pan. With this all I had to do was give the butter a swirl to see that it wasn't stuck to the bottom of the pan. Not only do I love that its non stick but its also environmentally friendly. I've read a lot of articles wear the media tends to treat this "green" thing like its a fad. Simply put...IT'S NOT. Not only is BEKA Chef eco-logic cookware made environmentally friendly its also made to use less energy when you sear, grill or even use to simmer over long periods of time!

BEKA is generously giving away their  8", 9.5" and 11" Fry Pans to one of you!
