Nutella Dream Puff by Momma Cupcake
1 cup unsalted butter
1/2 tsp sea salt
2 cups flour
In heavy bottom saucepan heat water, butter, salt till till it boils. Turn down heat to medium high and add flour stirring vigorously. Stir flour until it forms a ball. Put mass in stand mixer immediately with your paddle attachment beat on slowest speed (this helps release some of that steam) for 2 minutes. Preheat oven to 400. While still stirring add eggs one at a time until batter is smooth, shiny and elastic.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. With decorating bag and large star tip pipe batter in a conical pattern. Bake for 20-30 minutes or until golden brown. Cut a slit into the puff immediatly to release steam. Allow to cool completely.
1 1/2 cups butter, room temp
1 cup Nutella
2 cups powdered sugar
3 tbs milk
In stand mixer with paddle attachment beat butter and Nutella together until throughly incorporated. Add powdered sugar a little at a time until the frosting comes together. Add milk one tbs at a time until the frosting smooths out and becomes light and fluffy. Pipe into cream puff shells.
1/2 cup Nutella
1 tbs hazelnut oil
Beat together with fork until Nutella mixture becomes vicious. Drizzle over Nutella Dream Puffs.
